Texas Sports Medicine Center members can choose from a variety of group exercise classes. Group exercise is a great way to meet your fitness goals in a fun and social environment. Our classes are led by certified instructors and are available for all fitness levels. Learn more about our classes below. Each class is labeled as appropriate for Beginners, Intermediate and/or Advanced levels.


This class is for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit—fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP™ gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 590 calories*. Instructors will coach you through the proven moves and techniques, pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music—helping you achieve much more than you could on your own! You'll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced.


This system of exercises creates a strong core for better posture, flexibility and a strong, lean, balanced body--while also toning and firming your entire body,. The Pilates program can also help relieve back pain. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced.


This total body, high intensity program uses free weights, resistance and body weight to masterfully combine the components of R.I.P.P.E.D. (Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics and Endurance). The D refers to the diet suggestions you’ll also receive to help you attain and maintain your physique in ways that are fun, safe, doable and extremely effective. Intermediate, Advanced.


This class is a great cardiovascular workout. Pedal through hill climbs, sprints and many other challenging drills and exercises. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced.

Quick Spin

This is a fun 30 minute calorie-burning and cardiovascular workout with stationary bikes. Your bike’s tension can be increased or decreased based on your preference.


Get a total body blow out while using a platform to intensify your workout. This class utilizes all muscle groups while your heart rate stays high. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced.

Stronger Seniors

This class is designed for seniors to work out both upper and lower body muscles. Beginner.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese internal martial art and a form of moving-mediation. This class benefits the whole person—physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Movements help cultivate feelings of well-being, centeredness, serenity and strength as well as improving balance, agility and bone mass. It can help reduce stress-related imbalances, including high blood pressure, anxiety, headaches, and joint pain. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced.


A great class for all members—whether you’re familiar with yoga or trying it for the first time. The  focus is on alignment with detailed instruction to help with flexibility, stress relief and improving overall well-being. No previous yoga knowledge or experience is needed to participate. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced.

Chair Yoga

This class brings you through a gentle sequence of postures in a basic yoga class using a chair. These instructor-led postures are great for seniors, first-time yoga participants and anyone with limited mobility or who is recovering from injury. Beginner.


This class takes the popular Latin-dance inspired workout of Zumba and makes it accessible for seniors, beginners or others needing modifications in their exercise routine. Zumba Gold builds cardiovascular health by challenging the heart and working the muscles of the hips, legs and arms with dance moves. Beginner, Intermediate.

Class Length & Schedules

All classes are 50 minutes in length on the schedule except Quick Spin, which is 30 minutes.

* Pool and spas are closed during supervised Physical Therapy; however, the LAP LANE remains OPEN.
