What is Cardiac Rehab? Cardiac Rehab is a comprehensive, medically supervised program designed to assist patients in regaining their physical capacity and improve their confidence in the ability to return to a full and productive life following a cardiac event. Additionally, patients are provided with the educational resources that will help them to make health decisions that can help slow, stabilize, and even reverse the progression of their heart disease. In combination with proper medication and a heart healthy diet, exercise is of vital importance to regaining heart function, decreasing symptoms, and stopping the progression of heart disease.
